Avondale Glen Elder Neighborhood Association

The Avondale-Glen/Elder Neighborhood Association (AGENA) is the lead organizer in what is now a five-year effort to protect the community from the proposed natural gas storage facility project.  Former co-chair of AGENA, Constance Slider, and AGENA chair, Jermain Gill continue to lead, organize, and educate the community in an attempt to stop the gas site proposal.  They are working with Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC), Remy Moose Manly LLC, Equal Justice Society, and others in fighting the proposition.
